1989 Framed Letter DIsplay from VP Dan Quayle On HIs Favorite Quote. Professionally double-matted and framed, with letter on Vice President Quayle's official letterhead. The letter responded to a request asking for the Vice President's favorite quote. In the response, Quayle referred to his grandfather newpaper publisher Eugene Pulliam "America is great, because America is free". The signature is by autopen but the letter is original. The items display nicely and include a portrait photograph of Quayle along with a commemorative bronze plaque.
Dan Quayle sought the Republican presidential nomination in 2000, but withdrew his campaign early on and supported the eventual nominee, George W. Bush.
