Vice Presidential secret service guest pin issued to guests of Vice President George H.W. Bush. These pins were distributed to guests of the Vice President at campaign events, White House visits or aboard Air Force Two. Vice Presidential seal engraved on the red enamel shield shaped pin with the words "VICE PRESIDENTIAL GUEST" printed in gold and the number "322" engraved on the reverse and on the matching number card. The color of the pin was typically changed for each day's event. This one is a green color. Original.
At events where Presidents or Vice Presidents greeted guests, the Secret Service often issued Presidential or Vice Presidential Guest pins. These pins served as a form of identification, granting individuals permission to be in close proximity to the nation's leaders. The pins ensured security while allowing a controlled and safe environment for interactions with the high-profile officials.
