We are proud to offer this extremely rare and impressive hand-embroidered White House flag with exquisite detail dating back to the Nixon presidential era. Large 3' x 4" size, and made of a blue rayon fabric with silver and gold metallic fringe sewn on three sides. This flag is double-sided, with the same image on both sides, with the sewed sleeve/flap for mounting on a pole. It is typically used during ceremonies and events at The White House and on official trips.
In truly excellent condition, simply the best condition we have ever seen in 48+ years. A truly remarkable and beautiful hand emroidered item that deserves to be in a museum or private collection of a collector who appreciates fine craftsmanship and quality.
On the inside of the flag is the official White House markings that are sewn into White House flags to identify their authenticity and official status. The label provides added provenance to the authenticity of this incredibly beautiful flag.

This rare flag has been a prized posession of the Dan Hansen Collection for over 30 years. It was acquired in 1989 from Joe Levine, (Presidential Coin & Antique Compan) who was a noted historian, well respected dealer in fine presidential artifacts.
The DPSC designation on the sewed in label on this incredibly impressive flag stands for the Defense Personnel Support Center (Later renamed Defense Supply Center). The center provided logistics, products and services to the U.S. Armed Forces worldwide, as well as the White House and other government agencies.
