The January 29, 1997 White House dinner honored America’s living commanders in chief, celebrating bipartisan unity at the start of President Bill Clinton’s second term. Hosted in the State Dining Room, attendees included President and Mrs. Clinton, former Presidents Gerald Ford, Jimmy Carter, George H. W. Bush, and their spouses, along with senior administration officials and distinguished guests from government and the military. With the gold embossed Seal of the President at the top and the gilt gold edging. Served on the Woodrow Wilson Service Plate and the Franklin Roosevelt Dinner Service. Original.
