1998 Scarce "The White House Mess" Lenox China Bowl. White House China This is a Lenox China Bowl from the administrations of Bill Clinton and George W. Bush. Cobalt blue and gilt rimmed pattern accented by the gilt Presidential seal,. used in the various White House rooms referred to as ''The White House Mess''. On the reverse the bowl reads, "The White House Mess / 1998 / Lenox China Made in the USA'. Very fine condition. Excellent gift item or addition to you personal collection. Original.
The White House Mess (aka Presidential Food Sevice)' was established in 1951. It is located in the basement of the West Wing of The Whiite House, adjacent to the Situation Room.
