Metropolitan Police.  An inside look into the association including such stories and complaints about the men assigned to horse-mounted duty "not always delirous of being so-assigned. They must BUY the Horse" and accusations of ballot stufing in the association's elections. 46 pages + cover. Original.

Historical Notes

On the cover is an image of the familiar Washington DC police badges in the same style as used for presidential inaugurations. The cost of membership in the association when it started was a whopping 25 cents.
