This is an original honored guest badge and matching box from the 1956 Democratic National Convention held in Chicago. This the convention where then Senator John F Kennedy narrowly lost the nomination for Vice President to Adlai Stevenson. JFK At Chicago. Size 2 X 5 inches,. Dated 1956 Chicago. This was the Convention where JFK seeked the office of Vice President but was narrowly defeated despite Kennedy's father's efforts.
The convention took place August 13-17 and nominated Adai Stevenson as President and Senator Sestes Kefauver as Vice President to run agains Dwight Eisenhower.
