1896 Rare Bimetallic National Convention - Gold Democrats -California Badge 16 to 1. July 22, 1896 convention. Large elaborate flower top pin with golden California bear. Gold ribbon with darker gold rpint, tapered end with two levels of tassels. I doubt we will see another one of these come up for sale anytime soon - or ever. Gorgeous. Large 3" x 12.5". Original.

The Bi-metallic League of California selected delegates to attend the National Silver convention to be held in St. Louis on Juyl 22, the same date as the Populist Convention.
