Every Sunday (well, just about every Sunday - sometimes we do take a rest) we send out an email to those people who have requested to be placed on our mailing list. The Email typically contains a list of the newest items that we have listed on our website for sale.
Since we have been sending these email out around 5:30 p.m. EST for years, there is quite a following of collectors who pounce on the email as soon as it arrives in order to grab the campaign button, poster, autograph or historical document.
The record holder so far is a collector in the midwest who literally bought an item within seven seconds of when the email went out. Now that's fast fingers!
