Large political advertisement ad mat promoting Democrat Culter L. Olson for re-election as California Governor. The ad touts Olson's turnaround of the California deficit into a surplus. "Your Patriotic Duy Is to Vote! Nov. 3, 1942.
If you are looking for something that few people have in their collection this is it. .
These "ad mat" was used in the printing process to create a printing plate for either ads to appear in newspapers or campaign materials. Sometimes called a stereotype matrix or wood at mat and are difficult to read since they were not the final product, just one of the steps in the printing process.
