This is a vintage Civil War Regiment Poster for the Company G, 16th Regiment, Vermont Volunteers. Beautiful grahics of Civil War battles and soldiers. According to the poster the regiment was organized at Barnard , September 4, 1862. "Mustered into United States Service, Brattleboro, October 23, 1862. Arrived at camp on East Capitol Hill, October 27th." Marked along the bottom "Lithographed by A. Hoen & Co. Baltimore"...Very colorful. Eagle at the top with American flags, lists the members of the regiment, including those who died or were discarged. Original. Displays beautfully in a vintage wooden frame ready for hanging in your office, den or library. .
