1961 John F Kennedy Official Photo of One of the Last Meetings JFK Held in the Oval Office Before Leaving For Texas. Photo by Abbie Rowe Official White House Photographer. With back stamp and handwritten text "WHITE HOUSE Nov - 20th 63 Abbie Rowe 8249-D on the reverse. Bold and exceptionally clear photo of Kennedy receiving the 8th Armore Division Association Citation the day before he left for the trip to Texas. The presentation took place on November 20th 1963. The next day John F Kennedy left for his fateful trip to Texas that ended with his assassination.
Acquired in the collection of a former White House staff staff member.
