1930s Scarce "Jury Report on Prohibition" Satirical Caricature Envelopes. Complete set of twelve individual postal covers (envelopes) from a satirical series with the headline "Jury Report on Prohibition" and featuring a different caricature of a juror. It lists their job title and a quotation and the "value" they received from Prohibition.  Set fo twelve different original unuused envelopes. Available elsewhere online for $1,500 (admittedly in what appears to be slight better shape) but get it here for just $450 for the complete set. 

Jurors include A professional reformer, A resort proprietor, a canddiate for office, a dry farmer, A night club hostess a bell hoop, a politician, A bootlegger, a grape grower, a machine-gun dealer, a chemist and a racketeer. 

An example of a quotation from Juror No. 7 "the Politican".  "I'm pro-Prohibition because there's Dough in it for me, directly and indirectly." 

Another example, this one from Juror No. 5 "A Night Club Hostess". "Hello, Suckers! We're all strong for Prohibition and HOW!"
