Interesting historical document from a Re-Union and Banquet to Senators of Sessions of 1883-1885 By Lewis Emery, Jr Bellevue-Stratford hotel , January 31, 1905. It appars to be a seating chart listing 111 Senators who presumably attended the banquet. Essentially a who's who of Pennsylvania politicians during the 1883-1885 era. It must have been one heck of a gathering.
We acquired this unique item from a collection of items owned by one of the attendees, who in fact when on to become a member of the U.S. House of Representatives.
