1980 President Elect Ronald Reagan California Campaign Display. Interesting framed display that includes a letter from President-Elect Ronald Reagan when he won the presidential election in 1980, in which he thanks the recipient for hard work in the campaign. Reagan adds: "As an expression of my gratitude I'm enclosing a badge that has been designed especially for those who worked on the California campaign..." The badge (button) is included in the display along with the original envelope, a photograph of the newly elected president and a ticket from the victor celebratoin in California. While we are confident the letter is official, we believe the signature was either signed by auto-pen or by a secretary, although we have not had it authenticated by a third party. Original.
