Presidential Yacht Sequoia Pewter Charger Style Presentation Plate. In 1977 President Jimmy Carter ordered the presidential yacht Sequoia sold as a symbol of his cost cutting measures. Previously, the yacht was used during the administration of Presidents beginning with Herbert Hoover. The pewter plates were made by Wilton-Columbia, PA. An attractive souvenir style decor piece.
