1920 Republican National Convention Messenger Badge. From the 1920 Republican convention that nominated Harding & Coolidge for President and Vice President. With Abraham Lincoln medallion at the bottom, a, red, white and blue flag ribbon and an Eagle top attachment that reads "republican National Convention Messenger in the center and Chicago 1920 on either side. Inscribed on the reverse with Green Duck Co, manufacturers mark. Bright silver reflective color. Original.
The 1920 Republican National Convention, held in Chicago, nominated Senator Warren G. Harding of Ohio for President and Governor Calvin Coolidge of Massachusetts for Vice President. The convention emphasized a return to “normalcy” after World War I and the progressive era, uniting conservatives and moderates around themes of stability, prosperity, and traditional American values.
