1896 Rare McKinley & Hobart Club of Raritan N.J. Jugate Campaign Button. With Whitehead & Hoag advertising back paper on the reverse. Text at the top reads "The McKinley & Hobart Club of Raritan N.J." The bottom text reads "Raritan Wants Sound Money And Protection To Its Industries", with image of both McKinley & Hobart in the center. Not perfect condition as you can see from the photo, but still presents well and is one of the very few that are known to still exist. A unique opportunity to acquire this rare button that is missing from most McKinley collections. Original.
Historical Notes
William McKinley enlisted as a private in the Union Army, he was mustered out at the end of the war as a brevet major of volunteers.
